Android phones have been releasing smartphones with 5-inch screens for quite a while now. However, Apple decided to increase their screen size this year after being insistent on the importance of a small screen for a long time with their latest iPhone, the iPhone 6. Compared to previous iPhone models, the latest iPhone is thinner, faster and quite improved as expected. Continue reading to learn more about the iPhone 6 specs and its prices in the Nigeria.
Apple finally decided to revamp their iPhone design and came up with something even better and thinner. The design featured in the last four iPhones look quite updated now so Apple finally decided to change things. The latest iPhone looks sleek and it’s currently one of the thinnest smartphones in the market. The design features an attractive combination of metal back and looks quite similar to the design pattern of the iPad Air. The phone feels quite easy to hold at 6.9mm thickness and gives a premium feeling too. A major change in design is the change of the power button’s position which is now visible at the right side of the phone. It was a right decision if you look at the phone’s dimension which is 138.1 x 67mm.
As mentioned earlier, the latest iPhone features a bigger, 4.7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display showing 1,334 x 750 pixels. It’s quite a big jump for Apple as iPhones were only available in smaller screen sizes. The iPhone 6 is available in three different colors: space gray, silver and gold. The resolution is definitely small compared to other Android smartphones with similar specs. However, it looks nice and it feels great to use the iOS 8 on a bigger display. If you are planning on buying a smartphone with a screen size of about 5 inches, consider the iPhone 6. A notable new feature of the new iPhone 6 is fingerprint sensor.
The iPhone 6 features a 64-bit desktop class A8 chipset, Dual-core Cyclone CPU clocked at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, optional 16/64/128GB storage, 1.2-megapixel secondary camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera. There is no change megapixel-wise in rear-camera but there are some notable improvements. The new camera includes a new sensor with Focus Pixels and offers some new features like capturing slo-mo videos at 240fps and 1080p videos at 60fps. There is also a time-lapse video mode. The phone includes most of the standard connectivity options including GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0. However, there is no microSD card slot as usual and NFC is available for Apple Pay only. If you are looking for a phone with better camera, you can definitely think about checking out the Apple iPhone 6 Nigeria price.
